He is Commemorated on the Buderim Mountain Roll of Honour Board, Buderim War Memorial Hall, Buderim, Queensland.

In the Bi-Monthly Electoral List of persons appearing to be qualified to vote at the election in 1915, for the Division of Maroochy, Oliver Woodward, residing at Buderim Mountain, was shown as a labourer. Chronicle & North Coast Advertiser, 11 December 1914.

OBITUARY - Oliver came to Australia by the PO Steamship, Geelong, arriving at Sydney in April 1913.

Having spent some months in Sydney, he came on to Queensland and eventually arrived at Buderim Mountain in the late part of 1914. He resided there up to the time of his death in the Maroochy District Hospital on 13 June 1936, at the age of about 60 years.

He had for many years been engaged in the business of watchmaker and jeweller, and proved a great benefit to the residents of the district. For some months his continued ill health prevented him from carrying on his business.

He never married and leaves a brother, Mr. John Woodward, who is a retired engineer lieutenant of the Royal Navy, residing at Moseley, near Birmingham. The Nambour Chronicle, 19 June 1936.

Oliver is buried in the Nambour General Cemetery, Nambour. Queensland.
