WILSHER William George

QER 1919 Labourer - dairyman - living at Cooroy

William was a dairyman living in Cooroy at the time of enlistment. He was the son of William George WILSHER of Brisbane. After disembarking at Suez, he went for training at Moascar and was taken on strength by the 11th Light Horse Regiment on the 25th December 1918. He returned to Australia on the HT Morvada from Egypt, arriving back on the 28th August 1919 William married Catherine Clara POOLE.
