Albert was returned to Australia and discharged - suffering from Tuberculosis.
His pension statement in his records indicate that he may have been admitted to the sanitorium at Stanthorpe Military hospital.
Albert Edwards married Ada Maud Pickering on 29 January 1919 “after he returned from the war”.
They had 3 children - Colin, Kenneth and Albert. Albert snr. died on 4 February 1930 aged 37. - Returned to Australia
